EpilMe generates a laser beam with a length of 808nm, leading to the effect of selective photothermolysis - consisting in thermal heating of the hair matrix. The heated matrix is damaged, while thanks to the effect of selective photothermolysis, the epidermis and surrounding tissues remain safe.
EpilMe targets the bulb and bulge of the terminal hair follicles with a wide variation in depth, providing excellence in treating legs, arms, cheeks, men’s backs and beards 1.
EpilMe 808 nm wavelength has deep penetration. Besides the wavelength, the key to successful diode laser hair removal is the delivery of high energy into the skin, which is selectively absorbed by the melanin surrounding the hair follicle. Featuring a power output of 8,000 W, EpilMe allows to accurately adjust the fluence from 1 to 80 J/cm2 and repetition rate (frequency) up to 12 Hz for a customised treatment according to the different patient’s need.

The innovative and distinctive Contact Cooling System helps to protect the epidermis and it ensures a constant cooling from 1ºC throughout the full treatment for optimal patient comfort.
